And finally the minister of the economy rolled back the increase in cinema ticket prices!
1st increase in 6 years went from 30 to 35 dirhams!
The minister has not talked about etisalat and its directory assistance fees 1 dirham for 1st minute and 50 fils for each additional minute.
Nor has the Dubai Islamic Bank's new fee for services on current accounts caught any attention.
The point we had was simple.
If we are going to have a ministry reversing unjustifiable increases for commodities and services shouldn't this be an across the board activity and not adhoc?
Just a thought.
