Youth, INNOVATION, leadership do the youth stand a chance today?
AIESEC that operates out of 800 universities world wide might be the answer.
So why is it not on the lips of every business person?
Why is AIESEC not on the lips of every student at University today?
Hmmm...
What does it offer?
Innovative approaches to leadership and self discovery!
And best off all the organization is really an NGO based on the idea of driving change.
So what do they really do besides party? Uhhh you know what? I am still not really sure.
I do know that they help organize seminars, one is happening this weekend in Dubai.
But I cannot help but wonder why, with all the power the group has via youth it is not reinventing the wheel?
Why has AIESEC not tied into the business lecture pool?

AIESEC does some great things BUT is it more than a mirror of a flawed business world, a world we all enter?
That I am not so sure.
None the less AIESEC does offer a way to prepare for and at the least know what to expect when you hit the ground after University and that is very important!

AIESEC has created an impact among the local youth through its leadership development and international exchange program.
Since its a youth driven organization the majority of the people running it are students so there are some external constraints which AIESEC has faced and because of which it is not on every student's lips and also not on every business person's lips.
The popularity of AIESEC is increasing and like anyother organization it needs a little more time to be wellknown in the local society.

The funny thing about AIESEC is that its footprint of publicity is so small int he UAE.
I wonder if the idea just doesn't take off due to the number of internship possibilities that exist?
As far as the number of internships are concerned , you dont know that so i think you cannot comment on it.
Secondly it has been only 6 years since Aiesec was open in UAE and if you see in colleges many students are aware about this organization specially in knowledge village.
Give it a few years and the name of this orgainization will be on everyones "lips"
