278,000 people have availed of the illegal labour amnesty in the UAE!
The date to leave is November 3rd!
And there is a problem!
There is a significant group of people, 200-800 who at this moment have no home, no money, no food and no ticket out of the UAE!
Amnesty yes, means to exit no.
If it is not bad enough that many workers are leaving the UAE with their pride in their hat they cannot get home.
We have seen a huge out puring of help for charities in the last 2 months in Dubai and now we need to see a little for these people.
Dr. Shashikala is actually doing this!
This good doctor is feeding and trying to arrange transport for a group of 200 and more are arriving daily asking for help, sometimes as simple as a plate of food. And Dr. Shashikala is even paying for that if she can.
Time for our industry to jump in and lend a hand.
