Hour 2 we spoke about self censorship and we had 2 callers. AMAZING that the UAE was so silent on this topic.
Worth a listen!

I do think that we (at least I do) use technology a lot but why not? It's meant to make access to information and communication a lot easier. But I don't think it stops us thinking or interacting - we just do it differently. We use IM where we would use a telephone, or facebook instead of driving a few kilometers to meet some of the same people.
I find that I have more contact with people it would have been more expensive or absolutely difficult to get in touch with. I find that I have access to more information and random thoughts that help me understand other points of view.
Its just different. I still enjoy doing non-techie stuff like read a book or go for a walk - technology just helps me find the right book or the right parks for my walk!
