We are in a crisis. Too many obese children and not enough being done in a coherent manner.
There are 6 stakeholder groups: state, family, education, private sector, media, health sector and too little is being done by all!
Mayada Wahsh, program officer for UNICEF, Osama Al Othman, In-Motion, Alison Fawcett, Nurse at Greenfield Community School, and David Jenns of Libra all joined me to work through this issue.
James Piecowye took over Nightline in October 2006 until it was canceled in June 2018. The cast and crew of Nightline decided to keep the show going and this is where James posts the notes.

Jamuary 5--- a fat food tax?
The Governor of New York State wants to put in place an 18% tax on "fat" drinks, those high in sugar.
Could this be a way for Dubai to tackle the fat problem?
