Indie Music and Tech

We started off the show listening to some very cool independent music from the middle east. We started the Tone Town sessions with Tim Hassall and also listened to Who Killed Bruce Lee - room for 3- and Jadal.

In hour 2 it was all about technology! The Libratone Speaker and the HTC One X Mini were both reviewed.
And this is the entire show podcast.

Here are the things we did and did not talk about.

Coffee Culture

Are you a coffee fanatic?  Where do you like to go for your coffee?

Sports a waste of time?

So is there really much of a difference between baseball and cricket? Tim said yes while I can reduce it to chasing balls. Not much difference if you ask me they are both a bore that a lot of people love. The other question was how do we get people out to watch the local sport and does it matter if it it is not sponsored? I think we pretty much discard anything that doesn't have millions of promotion behind it. How do we fix it? 1% of professional event promotion cost is put back into the local scene! Tim asked if it is that easy, YES it is! Why don't we do it? Becasue we don't think it is possible!

Tim Hassall and His Music

Tim Hassall joins me in studio to talk about his new, first CD, and making music. Tim went to high school in the UAE and some would say found his love of music here. A great musical show. http://timhassall.com
