CarTalk December 2nd

This was a lot of fun.

The boys from Motoringme.com joined me to chat a bit about cars.

And there was not a dull moment to be had this week as we unpacked the automotive industry.

Here is what I hoped we would talk about.

-Nissan Cube do we see these here?

-Honda City got big?

-Economy cars 40-50000DHS best pick

BMW i3 want one!

-corvette convertible Oh Baby!

- XTS when it came out as you can read at this link. And now I've just been out in this - the V-Sport version in Platinum trim - and rather nice it is too. Not least because slapping a turbo on the V6 has upped power by nearly 100bhp to 410bhp! Review coming soon.

-Italian sports car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini has halted the production of its Lamborghini Gallardo model, after almost a decade.
The final production unit was completed at its plant in Sant'Agata, Italy, which produced a red LP570-4 Performante model. With the last unit, the company has produced a total of 14,022 units of Gallardo model.
This specific car will be delivered to a private collector soon. However, the company will use the production line to produce a successor that will be unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show in 2014.
In 2003, Lamborghini introduced the original Gallardo with a special MurciƩlago model at the Geneva Auto Salon to celebrate the company's 40th anniversary.
Following this, the new V10 Lamborghini reached a first milestone of 3,000 units in 2005 and 5000 units in January 2007.
The 5.0l V10 portfolio holds 32 variants in total including 2003 Gallardo 5.0, 2004 Gallardo Polizia, 2005 Gallardo SE, 2005 Gallardo Spyder, 2006 Gallardo Nera, 2006 Gallardo GT3-R by Reiter Engineering, 2007 Gallardo Superleggera, 2008 Gallardo LP560-4, 2008 Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder, 2009 Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni edition and many other models.
