Connecting the T2 to your router is as simple as holding down the power button, joining its temporary wireless network and then configuring it to connect to your own network. connect to your phone via WiFi, which is fast enough for transfers, but a bit inconsistent when it comes to framing shots. There's a noticeable delay, and while we were able to look past it with the QX10, given that that model is designed for casual use, it's a significant issue with the QX100, which for all intents and purposes is a top-shelf device. The second issue, for the bigger model in particular, is its size. The QX100 was designed to accommodate larger components, and the addition is substantial. This is BIG.
As for operation, you're still going to do everything on the phone.

Lenovo wants to be #1
Lenovo Chief Executive Yuanqing Yang said his company purchased Motorola with the goal of surpassing Apple and Samsung, the current leaders in the smartphone market.
Earlier this week, Google agreed to sell parts of Motorola to Lenovo for $2.91 billion. Combining Motorola and Lenovo's smartphone businesses would put Lenovo just behind Samsung and Apple.
Asked Thursday by CNN Money if Lenovo can catch up to Apple and Samsung, Yang said, "Definitely, over time. Our mission is to surpass them."
How to make money off of tweets!
Twitter and CNN have unveiled a new tool that will help journalists identify breaking news soon after it happens.
The new tool, developed in partnership among CNN, Twitter, and the social analytics companyDataminr, is designed to identify potentially breaking news as it's "emerging on Twitter in real time."
While any journalist can see news bubbling up on Twitter through their feeds, the new tool, calledDataminr for News, will analyze tweets in real time and identify potential breaking news while it's still in its early stages.
Though there's certainly the potential for false news to break through with a tool like this, Dataminr CEO Ted Bailey told TechCrunch, which reported the news ahead of the official announcement, that the system was designed to examine things like whether there is corroboration for a report. The tool is expected to be made available to all journalists later this year, though a price hasn't been announced.
Facebook Updating iPhone App
Facebook unveiled its latest effort at engaging users today, a new iPhone app called Paper that will be released Monday. Unlike Facebook’s existing smartphone app, which is purely functional, and the irritating mobile experience of Facebook Home, this one looks beautiful and easy to use.
Paper looks like a cross between your existing Facebook news feed and a news reader app, with both status updates from friends and news stories. The app eschews buttons and menus in favor of simple swiping gestures. Instead of the standard news feed you see large images that you can tilt your phone to reveal more of, auto-playing videos, and status updates that fill the display.
You are encouraged to consume content from outside of Facebook without leaving Paper, by choosing categories of online media you’d like to see in addition to your usual news feed items. Each of those categories - such as food, photography, sports, and science - can be leafed through like a tiny magazine.
Google Keeping Motorola team that came up with modular phone.
Google is selling Motorola to Lenovo for $2.91 billion, but the Silicon Valley company will be keeping the Motorola team responsible for several futuristic projects.
Following the official announcement of the Motorola acquisition, Lenovo confirmed that Google will retain Motorola's Advanced Technology and Projects group, according to The Verge. That team of nearly 100 is responsible for Project Ara, a build-your-own-phone concept announced by Motorola last year.

You'll get that opportunity if Yuri Suzuki's team at Dentaku brings its crowdfunded Ototo kit to market. The synthesizer turns any conductive material into an instrument, changing its sound based on the nature of the object. An eggplant will carry a different tune than tinfoil, for instance. You can take greater control of your performance through optional light-, touch- and even breath-sensitive sensors; the gadget also connects to computers through USB if you'd like to use it as a MIDI controller. It will take a minimum £45 pledge ($74 plus $8 in shipping) to reserve Ototo ahead of its planned launch in June, but it may be worth the expense if you're tired of conventional music-making.
Encryption with a twist! Honey Encription
Ari Juels, an independent researcher who was previously chief scientist at computer security company RSA, thinks something important is missing from the cryptography protecting our sensitive data: trickery.
“Decoys and deception are really underexploited tools in fundamental computer security,” Juels says. Together with Thomas Ristenpart of the University of Wisconsin, he has developed a new encryption system with a devious streak. It gives encrypted data an additional layer of protection by serving up fake data in response to every incorrect guess of the password or encryption key. If the attacker does eventually guess correctly, the real data should be lost amongst the crowd of spoof data.
